The Super Falcons of Nigeria have moved one position from 46 to 46 in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World ranking.
The latest ranking was released by the Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, on Thursday.
According to the world cup governing body, the current 187 national teams is a record figure.
The Super Falcons were unable to win any of their last three games, losing twice against world champions, United States of America, and once against Japan.

The former African champions remain the most-ranked team in Africa, ahead of Banyana of South Africa, Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon, Black Queen of Ghana, and Elephants of Cote d’l voire.
The number one spot in the world is occupied by the USA.
FIFA stated that this ranking will determine the seedings for the final draw for the 2023 Women’s World Cup, to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
