The Super Eagles of Nigeria have slipped from 31th to 32nd in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola world ranking released today.
The latest ranking was released on FIFA’s official website on Thursday.
The Super Eagles are ranked number four in Africa, behind Senegal (1st), Morocco (2nd), and Tunisia (3rd).
The results of the last internal break may have played a crucial role in the drop. The Nigerian side played a 2-2 draw against Algeria’s B team and were beaten 2-1 by the team A.

Brasil were ranked number one in the world as they aim for a sixth world cup title next month. Among the top five best teams are Belgium (2nd), Argentina (3rd), France (4th), and England (5th).
Italy, Spain, and Netherlands occupy the sixth to eighth positions in the ranking.
The next ranking by the world football body is expected to be released on December 22, 2022.
