Senator Ishaku Abbo, representing Adamawa State North Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Creative Economy, has disclosed plans to establish a commission dedicated to resolving disputes between record labels and their artists.
During a condolence visit to the late Mohbad’s family in Lekki, Lagos State, Senator Abbo stated that the Senate, in partnership with the Ministry of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, will work towards creating this commission. He emphasized that the commission’s creation is essential to prevent individuals from taking matters into their own hands in such disputes.
