Ladan Bosso, Flying Eagles head coach, has praised the performance of his players after Nigeria were knocked out from the ongoing 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
The Flying Eagles dominated their quarter-final match against South Korea but ended up losing 1-0.
South Korea broke the deadlock in extra time through a Choi Seokhyun goal.
Bosso lauded his players for their commendable performance in the game.
Bosso however claimed the Flying Eagles were let down by their poor finishing.
He said, “We tried our best but it wasn’t good enough. Our finishing wasn’t good. But you can see we’ve left a group of players for the federation to build on.”
South Korea will face Italy in the quarter-finals on Thursday.
