Sergio Ramos, Paris Saint-Germain defender, has lamented his exclusion from the World Cup squad that will represent Spain in Qatar.
Spain’s coach, Luis Enrique named a final 26-man squad that did not include the defender on November 11.
Reacting to the development Ramos in a post on his Instagram handle said, “The World Cup? Of course it was one of those great dreams I had to fulfill.
“It would have been my fifth but unfortunately I’ll have to watch it from home.”

Ramos has been on the scoresheet 23 times in 180 matches for Spain. Although his appearance for PSG has been limited since joining the club last summer, he has assisted once this season in 13 Ligue 1 matches this season.
Spain are in Group E alongside Costa Rica, Germany, and Japan for the World Cup in Qatar. The La Furia Roja won the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
