Germany shot-stopper, Manuel Neuer and his Bayern Munich teammate Leon Goretzka, have been sidelined for their Nations League matches against Hungary and England after he tested positive for COVID-19.
The pair tested positive on Wednesday.
Neuer and Goretzka have been excused from the team’s training camp in Frankfurt as they begin self-isolation.
Hoffenheim stopper Oliver Baumann, 32, has been called up as Neuer’s replacement while another placed is expected to be invited in place of Goretzka.

The German team ordered the tests after an associate of one of the players returned a positive result.
Germany is scheduled to play against Hungary on Friday while a clash against England follows on Monday at Wembley.
