Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata professionally known as “Teni” has gifted her High School teacher a brand new Lexus car to mark World Teachers Day.
This surprise took place in her alma mater, Apata Memorial High School, Ikeja, Lagos state when Teni visited her school during the school’s Teachers Day celebration.
The 29-year-old singer celebrated her former mathematics teacher, Mr Ofudje with a brand new Lexus car for his positive impact in her education.
“For your diligence, integrity and how hard you work, I decided to buy you a car,” she said.
Teni also showed them her book dated back to 2017, “my book is still in good condition because Mr. Ofudje sellotaped it for me,” she affirmed.

This thoughtful act of the musician drew the attention of many on the social media. All expressing their gratitude to her for such a bold step to put a smile on the face of her teacher.
Mr Ofudje, who was initially speechless, later got overwhelmed with joy, as his colleagues congratulated him before he was led outside the hall to see his new car.
