American rapper Rakim Allen, popularly known as PnB Rock, has reportedly been shot dead by a robber at a Los Angeles restaurant after his girlfriend shared their location on Instagram.
The police say the incident took place on Monday after the rapper was targeted by a robber which dining at a restaurant in Los Angeles.
The shooting took place after his girlfriend shared a location-tagged picture. The photo had since been deleted.
Los Angeles police chief Kelly Muniz said, “He (robber) shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot.”
The rapper was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police sources say the security footage is being looked at in an attempt to identify the suspect.
PnB Rock was famed for his hit track, ‘Selfish’.

He had in a podcast on September 2, spoken about rappers being robbery targets. He also shared a robbery attempt experience when he hung out with his girlfriend and daughter in 2022.
He said, “Where I’m from, we like sneaky criminals,”
“In LA… they bold.” He stated that he had never been robbed.
He added. “It’s just so bold. I’m seeing mad videos like they don’t even do it at night. Like night maybe, but broad daylight, that’s when they really do it.”
Meanwhile, rapper Cardi B has lashed out at those condemning PnB Rock’s girlfriend for sharing their location on social media. She insisted the shooting was a coincidence.
