Forbes released its annual list of the world’s most powerful women on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. The list features 100 women who are making a significant impact in various fields, including business, media, politics, entertainment, and technology.
The list was compiled using four main metrics: spheres of influence, money, media, and impact. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, is one of two Nigerians on the list, alongside MO Abudu. Her inclusion is a testament to her influential leadership and the vital role she plays in shaping the global landscape.
