Steve Cooper, Nottingham Forest manager, has disclosed that Taiwo Awoniyi stands a chance to make his log-waited comeback from injury against Wolverhampton Wanders on Saturday (today).
Awoniyi recently made a return to full training after being out for about three months with a groin injury.
The Nigerian forward sustained the injury in Nottingham Forest’s 1-0 win against Southampton at the St Mary’s stadium in January.
Speaking on his fitness, Cooper at a press conference said, “He (Awoniyi) is back now. He looks sharp. He definitely looks motivated and excited to be involved again.

“We look forward to reintroducing him, whenever that may be.
“We obviously have to be careful with him, because he’s been out for a long while; we have to respect that. It’s just good to have him back on the training ground.”
Awoniyi has bagged four goals in 16 appearances for the English Premier League side this season.
