UNIZIK VC Endorses Prof. Kate Omenugha For NIPR Governing Council Election

In a significant show of support, Prof. Charles Esimone, the Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, has thrown his weight behind Prof. Kate Omenugha’s candidacy for the upcoming Governing Council elections of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

Prof. Omenugha, a renowned figure in the field of education and public relations, has garnered widespread recognition for her achievements, making her a strong contender for the esteemed position.

The endorsement was contained in a memo signed Dr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, the special adviser to the VC on public relations and special duties dated  August 4, 2023.

Prof. Esimone’s endorsement not only highlights the depth of Prof. Omenugha’s reputation but also underscores her dedication to advancing the field of public relations in Nigeria and her chapter in particular.

Adding to the chorus of support, Prof. Angela Nwammuo, the Chairperson of the Anambra State Chapter of the NIPR, has pledged her backing for Prof. Omenugha, describing her as a shining gem in the realm of international public relations and commended her exceptional qualities.

Prof. Kate Omenugha, a former Commissioner for Basic Education in Anambra State and a member of the Anambra State Chapter of NIPR, has captured the admiration of many with her transformative leadership style.
