Tinubu Appoints Seven New Aides

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seven new aides who will be stationed at the Federal Ministry of Justice in Abuja, working under the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, SAN.

The appointees, as reported by PREMIUM TIMES, are as follows:Kamarudeen Ogundele, Special Assistant to the President on Communication and Publicity.

Hussein Oloyede, Special Assistant on Arbitration, Drafting, and Regulations.Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), Special Assistant on Financial Crimes and Public Prosecution Compliance.

Monsurat Gafar, Special Assistant on Coordination and Intergovernmental Agency Relations.Marcus-Obiene Fernández, Special Assistant on Justice Sector Reforms and ICT/Digital and Innovative Technology.

Ahmed Wada, Special Assistant on Special Duties.The identity of the seventh appointee is being kept confidential for security reasons.

Kamarudeen Ogundele, a well-known journalist, currently serves as the Group News Editor at the Abuja-based Daily Trust newspaper.

Hussein Oloyede, with experience in legal practice, began his career at the law firm of the legal practitioner Yusuf O. Ali (SAN) and later served as the secretary of the Takaful Advisory Council of NAICOM.

Monsurat Gafar, the former Principal Private Secretary to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state, previously worked as an assistant secretary to a UK junior minister.

Marcus-Obiene Fernandez is described as a “commercial and technology dispute resolution (litigation & ADR) specialist.”

Ahmed Wada, a lawyer based in Kano, previously served as the Vice Chairperson of the Ungogo branch of the Nigerian Bar Association in Kano and chaired the NBA Young Lawyers Forum.

Rotimi Oyedepo is a prosecutor for the EFCC who has risen to the position of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.These appointments are expected to contribute to the operations of the Federal Ministry of Justice.
