Reports say the assembly gallery was razed completely.
The fire began at about 8 am on Monday.

Prince Mathew Kolawole, the Speaker of the House, in an interview with newsmen at the assembly complex said the house will let security agencies unravel the details of the incident.
He added that this will not however prevent the assembly from performing its duty as the resolution of the house regarding the Dangote Cement Plc remains valid.
