Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a Catholic priest of Enugu Diocese has been removed from the Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria (AMEN).
The transfer is reported to be eliciting reactions from many of his followers.
Recall that the Adoration Ministry was reopened yesterday, Sunday after being closed down for three months by the Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Callistus Valentine Onaga.
Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi has been posted to man the Adoration Ministry in the place of Fr. Mbaka.
Mbaka has been transferred to a Monastery with immediate effect.
A source who spoke to Daily Post on the condition of anonymity described the development as unfortunate.

He said, “All along, the Bishop has been trying to take over the Adoration Ministry. But I can assure you that no priest will succeed there. So long as Fr. Mbaka is not there, nobody will come there to worship.
“This will lead to anarchy. It’s unthinkable that this kind of harsh decision could be made. We the adorers will never accept any other priest.
“Fr. Mbaka suffered and built that place will sole effort. Now they have tactically hijacked the place through the backyard. Let’s see how they will succeed.”
