In a recent decision, an Abuja High Court sitting at Maitama has granted bail to the detained former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele.
The court, presided over by Justice Hamza Muazu, set the bail amount at N300 million. As part of the bail conditions, Emefiele is required to provide two sureties who must be residents within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Abuja and own landed property within the Maitama District.
