Regrettably, kidnapping for ransom has become all too common in the North-west and North-central regions of Nigeria. Kaduna State has particularly been severely affected by this issue. Religious leaders and innocent members of vulnerable communities have fallen victim to these abductions, resulting in some tragic losses of life and others being released after ransom payments.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jeremiah Yakubu, his loved ones, and the entire community affected by this deeply distressing event.
