Nigerian artist Burna Boy has earned a BET Awards nomination for ‘Hip-Hop Artist of the Year,’ alongside top contenders 21 Savage, Cardi B, Drake, Glorilla, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar.
The Black Entertainment Awards recently unveiled nominees across 17 categories, where Burna Boy boasts seven nominations, including ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Best Hip-Hop Video,’ ‘Best Collaboration,’ ‘Best Live Performer,’ ‘Lyricist of the Year,’ and ‘Hustler of the Year.’ Notably, 21 Savage and Cardi B lead with 12 nominations each, followed by Drake with nine.

Burna Boy’s presence mirrors artists like J. Cole with six nominations, and Coi Leray, GloRilla, and Jay-Z, each receiving five.
Additionally, Burna Boy celebrated success at the 16th Headies, where his hit track ‘Last Last’ secured ‘Afrobeats Single of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’ honors.
