Olajide Adediran, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, and his running mate, Funke Akindele, have paid a visit to the two families whose vehicles were recently auctioned in Lagos by the State government.
Recall that the State government had auctioned vehicles forfeited to the State over violations of traffic in the State by drivers.
During the September 15 auction, viral videos showed traffic offenders in tears as their vehicles were sold to higher bidders.
Reacting to the incident, the PDP flagbearer, widely known as Jandor, paid a visit to the homes of Lateef Kolapo and Osinachi Ndukwe, who were both outbid in their quest to buy back their vehicles at the auction.

Ghenga Ogunleye, media aide of the PDP candidate, in a statement said Ndukwe was imprisoned for a duration of three months after his vehicle was impounded for driving against traffic.
The PDP candidate spoke against the Lagos government, describing the punishment as harsh.
Adediran while condemning traffic defilements said that if voted as the governor, he will review the laws which provide for the forfeiture of vehicles as a consequence for traffic violations.
