Cameroon striker, Choupo-Moting has been ruled out of Bayern Munich’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash against Manchester City on Tuesday due to a knee injury.

This was disclosed by the German club in a tweet on its official Twitter account.
The club tweeted, “Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting cannot travel to Manchester, the striker has been ruled out because of a knee joint problem.”

Choupo-Moting, 34, did not play in the club’s 1-0 win over Freiburg over the weekend due to the same injury and was replaced by Serge Gnabry.
The striker has bagged 10 goals in the Bundesliga this season for the defending champions and a further three in the Champions League.
