Shortly after President Bola Tinubu’s declaration that his administration will remove fuel subsidy, a filling station was caught selling fuel at the rate of N600 per liter within a few hours.
Tinubu addressed the nation after his inauguration on May 29th and outlined his plans, one of which involved the removal of fuel subsidy.
However, fuel prices saw an immediate surge as filling stations reacted to Tinubu’s announcement of fuel subsidy removal.
