Pauline Tallen Says ‘Amen’ To Anti-Aisha Buhari Prayer

In a video seen by Peoples Gazette, Mrs Tallen sat among her friends while they accused Mrs Buhari of blackmailing her, praying the former first lady will be rubbished.

“Former minister of women affairs. All her friends and associates. We are here. Aisha Buhari,” a fair-skinned woman in the video said as Mrs Tallen echoed “Aisha Buhari.”

“She wants to blackmail her (Mrs Tallen). God will not allow it. She is rubbishing herself. Any person who says he would rubbish somebody, God will rubbish that person,” the fair-skinned woman prayed.

“Amen,” Mrs Tallen, who was sitting in the middle of her four friends, and others in the video chorused.

Peoples Gazette cannot verify when the video was recorded. However, it emerged days after the former women affairs minister’s was grilled by the anti-graft agency.

The Gazette on June 3, reported that Mrs Tallen was quizzed over N2 billion fraud linked with African First Lady Peace Mission Project (AFLPM).

Mrs Buhari, president of AFLPM, had in April 2023, during a visit to the site of the new permanent secretariat of AFLPM still under construction in Abuja, demanded that Mrs Tallen immediately release the N500 million she allegedly collected for the project.

Suleiman Haruna, a spokesperson for the former first lady, said he cannot make comment on Mrs Tallen’s claim in the video when reached by Peoples Gazette.

“I don’t work for her (Mrs Buhari) anymore, said Mr Haruna. “I am civil servant attached to the office of the first lady of Nigeria. And she’s no longer the first lady. I cannot speak for her.”

Sani Zoro, another political aide to Mrs Buhari, also could not be reached for comments.
