Manchester City, for the first time since the establishment of the club have won their first Champion league after a wonderful goal from Rodri. The English side won their first Champion League Cup two seasons after losing out to Chelsea in the finals two seasons ago. They were announced the 2022-2023 Champions of Europe after a 1-0 win against Inter Milan last night.
Manchester City have won all three trophies: FA Cup, Premier League and the Champions League this season. Manchester City won the FA Cup last week after a 2-1 win against Manchester United at Wimberly Stadium, England.
The Champions League final was tough for both teams who brought in their best during the match. The first half saw Inter Milan defence ensuring that Manchester City did not score a goal. Rodri scored the only goal of the match during the second half and the match ended 1-0 in favour of Manchester City.
City striker, Erling Haaland won the Champions League Golden boot as the top scorer this season.
