Two suspects have been detained by Adamawa State police in connection with the brutal murder of an 85-year-old man in the state’s Shimba, Song Local Government Area.
The suspects, known as Gayawan Danzaria, 22, and Thank-God Obadia, 18, were taken into custody on September 8th, a Thursday.

It was learned that a woman who is presently at large allegedly hired them. The woman allegedly hired them to kill the man, whom she claimed to be a wizard who had cast a spell on her son.
To carry out the murder, the suspects demanded N5000 from her. However, the instigator made a N2,000 initial deposit and agreed to cover the remaining balance after the act was completed.
