Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, lashed out at Dino Melaye, spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential campaign council during a presidential town hall meeting in Abuja.
The fight ensued during a Townhall meeting organised by Arise Television on Sunday.
The LP presidential candidate confronted Melaye after the former Kogi lawmaker labeled Obi’s supporters as ‘noisemakers’, while interrupting the former Anambra State governor’s speech with unpleasant remarks and gestures.

Obi who lost his cool said, “I won’t take this. That colonel is an NNPP person, and you’re saying it’s Obi People. Dino, please stop that!
“I have taken enough from you here. Why are you always calling me?”
The incident comes after Melaye had advised Nigerians against casting their vote for Obi. According to Melaye, the euphoria surrounding Obi’s candidacy was fading gradually and he would not win the presidential election next year.
