Bola Tinubu, the President-elect, has returned to Nigeria on Monday.
Tinubu’s flight landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and was welcome by a crowd of his supporters.

He returned from France alongside his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, at the presidential wing of the airport to a loud welcome by party loyalists and supporters who had gathered at the airport.

Kashim Shettima, the Vice President-elect, was equally among the supporters and top members of the ruling All Progressives Congress who received Tinubu.
The President elect had on March 21 travelled abroad to spend some time in Paris and London.
A statement issued by the Office of the President-elect, signed by Tunde Rahman, said the trip was to help Tinubu to rest and plan his transition programme ahead of his inauguration on May 29.
