Salah, Mahrez To Serve As Pundits For 2022 World Cup

Liverpool forward, Mo Salah will feature alongside Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez in the beIN Sports World Cup punditry team in November.

Salah, captain of the Egyptian national team, will not play at the global football showpiece after his country failed to qualify for the tournament. Egypt were denied a place by Senegal after his former teammate, Sadio Mane led Senegal to a penalty shootout win during the last qualifying stage.

Mahrez also failed to inspire the Algerian side as they failed to qualify for the World Cup. The pair will not link up as pundits for the tournament.

The duo will have an opportunity to analyse their club teammates as Liverpool and Manchester City boast of a host of stars featuring at the World Cup.

Football clubs will go on break in November for more than one month before resuming after Christmas to permit players to participate in the World Cup scheduled to commence on November 20.
