Mohbad: Court Orders The Detention Of Auxillary Nurse, Friend

The Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Yaba has once more ordered the detention of the auxiliary nurse, Fisayo Ogedengbe, and Ayobami Sadiq, who were arrested by the police in connection with the controversial death of the hip-hop artiste, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

As previously reported, the nurse, who was summoned by Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq, was alleged to have administered injections to the late singer that led to his demise. On the other hand, the magistrate granted bail of N20 million to Mohbad’s former boss, Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, who were arrested by the police on October 6 on charges related to Mohbad’s death.The magistrate stated, “The defendants (Naira Marley and Sam Larry) are hereby granted bail in the sum of N20 million with three responsible sureties in like sum, pending legal advice from the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution.”

Furthermore, one of the sureties must own a landed property. As part of the bail conditions, the defendants must surrender their passports and appear weekly at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

The magistrate, Olatunbosun, also cautioned against direct contact regarding the case and warned that any such attempts would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.The police reported that the investigation into the case is still ongoing, and as a result, Olatunbosun adjourned the case until November 29 for advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution.
