The outgoing Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu is set to commision the new Government house edifice situated at Ogurube layout in Umuahia.
Daily Info gathered that the outgoing administration has concluded plans to commision the project, even though it has not been completed yet. The state government had earlier described the project as a significant achievement of the Ikpeazu-led admisitration. The project was initiated by the former Governor of the state, Senator T. A Orji in 2012 and had reached an advanced stage before he left office in 2015.

It is still unclear how Abians will react to the pictures of the massive edifice as described by the state government.
