I will Crush My Detractors – Governor Nyesom Wike

The protracted turmoil that has befallen the PDP reached new heights yesterday, when Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike pledged to annihilate his rivals in the main opposition party, the APC.
The governor bragged that he could “pepper” his opponents, saying that God had given him the strength to resist their criticism.
Wike warned that attempts to divide his supporters will fall short.
Speaking at the opening of the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu-built Okezuo Abia Flyover in Osieome, Aba, Abia State, the governor did so.
Wike and other PDP governors, including Sam Ortom of Benue, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Ikpeazu of Abia, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, are protesting the unequal distribution of positions within the party.

According to Wike, Nigerians will soon be able to distinguish boys from men, and they’ll also be able to tell who is important at the right moment.

Wike claimed that individuals attempting to undermine his team’s determination by infiltrating it had no idea how it operated.

He made a suggestion that team members were merely stand-ins for the real players behind the scenes.
Ikpeazu recommended to Wike that he leave matters to God during their conversation, and Wike reflected on the conversation by saying: “I was on an aircraft with him and we were chatting and he said why won’t I leave this issue for God and I asked what do you mean by that?

“Why are you overcrowding God? God has given me what it takes for me to crush these people, for me to crush my enemies, and you are telling me I should leave it for God.

“No. God has given me what it takes. God has so many things to do. There are the ones I should do and there are the ones I should call on God for.

“Now that I know I have the capacity to flog these small boys and you want me to go and leave it for God? I am going to flog them with pepper.

“Anybody who doesn’t understand that, let him know that I am not going to wait at all. All those ones who are talking in my state, calm down. When we start campaigning, we will know who is who.”
