Hungry Youths Storm Government Officials’ Meeting, Cart Away Food, Drinks

A meeting of the officials of Ministry of Communications ended in chaos yesterday as protesting Kenyan youths disrupted the gathering over hunger.

The occasion which was held in Kisumu, ended abruptly when a multitude of hungry youths stormed the venue.

The young men and women ransacked the event centre and carted way coolers of food, drinks and even souvenirs.

It was learnt that youths in the region had been complaining about rising hunger but their cries fell on deaf ears.

They decided to take to the streets on a day which coincidentally was scheduled to host officials in the Communications Authorities.

A video which is making the rounds online shows people going away with whatever they could laid their hands on while others ate food they found at the location.
