The governor of Ebonyi State stated this on Monday during an event hosted by Wike in Obio-Akpo LGA of Rivers State.

According to Umahi, the 2023 general election story cannot be told without Wike being mentioned.

He said, “I thank God Almighty who had enacted that Asiwaju (Tinubu) and (Kashim) Shettima will win.

“Look at the process of God, Tinubu was courageous, and Shettima. God, directly and indirectly, made Governor Wike very much available, and there is no way you can conclude about the success of the election without mentioning Governor Wike.

“We will be asking Asiwaju and Shettima to please bring Governor Wike to the core administration of the federal government. He has a lot to offer.

“He has a lot to offer for the unity of the country. It is not all about party now, it is about the unity of the country, it is how to move this country forward and reunite our people.”

Umahi said any politician who hopes to win in Rivers state without Wike is joking.

He added, “Our people want performance, if you have performed as a governor, the people will stand with you.”
