The senator representing Enugu East senatorial zone in Enugu state, Chimaroke Nnamani, has lost his re-election bid to Labour Party’s candidate, Sir Kelvin Chukwu.
The former governor polled 48,701 to finish behind Chukwu who garnered 69,136 votes.

Sir Kelvin Chukwu is the younger brother of late Oyibo Chukwu who was murdered few days to the February, 25 National Assembly elections.
