Bayern Clinch 11th Consecutive Bundesliga Title

Bayern Munich were on Saturday crowned the champions of the Bundesliga for the 11th consecutive time after beating Cologne 2-1 in the final game of the season.

Jamal Musiala scored in the 90th minute to hand Bayern a late 2-1 win at Cologne after Borussia Dortmund failed to beat Mainz at home with the match ending 2-2.

Bayern needed a win to emerge champions when Musiala bagged a goal towards the end of the match to ensure the Bavarians maintain their dominance in the league.

Despite needing a win to lift the title, Dortmund went 2-0 down after just 25 minutes, with striker  Sebastien Haller missing a penalty.

Although Dortmund rallied to score two goals in the second half, it was not enough to prevent Bayern from lifting the title on goal difference.

Bayern coach, Thomas Tuchel has ended his first season in charge of the German outfit with a title, with the team eyeing UEFA Champions League glory next season.
