Agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have detained Olakunle Oluomo, the Speaker of the Ogun state House of Assembly, for alleged fraudulent activities a second time in four days.
Recall that on Thursday last week, the agents detained Mr. Oluomo at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos at around 9:00 a.m.
However, the speaker was freed late on Friday night with a request to come back on Monday.

On Monday, the speaker was held upon his return to the EFCC headquarters.
According to a source, the EFCC had Mr. Oluomo and two other individuals in its custody as of 9:43 p.m.
Telephone messages left for the speaker and his media assistant, Abdulgafar Adeleye, by newsmen went unanswered.
The EFCC’s spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren did not respond to calls and texts to his phone.
