Ten persons have been burnt to death as a petrol truck explodes between Conoil petrol station and Sagamu interchange corridor of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The accident, which occurred this morning, affected four other vehicles.
It was reported that a truck at high speed lost control and collided the petrol tanker, triggering an explosion.
The fire outbreak charred a Mazda bus, which also exploded with passengers on board.

Florence Okpe, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Superintendent Route Commander and Public Education Officer for Sector Commander, Umar Ahmed, FRSC Ogun Sector Command, attributed the explosion to speeding.
Okpe said charred bodies of the victims were taken to Olabisi Obasanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, while some of the burnt vehicles were towed off the road, leaving the tankers for the fuel content to be transloaded.
